On Thursday, November 9, 2023 a meeting of representatives of conformity assessment bodies that intend to be notified in accordance with the requirements of the EU Drinking Water Directive and its complementary legal acts was held in Apeldoorn (NL).
The meeting was hosted by the European Drinking Water Initiative (EDW) and attended by representatives of 18 conformity assessment bodies from 10 member states.
The participating organizations are committed to supporting the mutual exchange in the sense of a uniform application of future conformity assessment and agreed to establish an independent and autonomous group under the umbrella of the EDW initiative.
